VIT makes it possible! We are a long-standing stockist of the Pyrobel range of fire-resistant and fireproof glazing. In addition, thanks to the PV’s developed in collaboration with Jansen, we can offer you an optimal solution for the realisation of fire-resistant roofs.
How can we do this? Thanks to a specific glazing, VIT offers a range of products that are heat-resistant and reduce the spread of fire through the roof. This product is Pyrobel, a transparent laminated glass consisting of float glass and intumescent interlayers.
What does this mean ?
The spacers become cellular refractory and opaque screens. The spacers become cellular refractory and opaque screens, allowing gas and smoke to pass through, protecting people from heat and allowing panic-free evacuation of the premises, as flames are masked by the opaque screen formed by the Pyrobel.
